Emergency and contingency planning

SABD can handle the process of preparing plans for private companies, organizations and public authorities.

Critical events occur and come in many varieties. Therefore, it is important that the individual organization has a plan for returning to the normalized conditions as soon as possible.

The contingency plan is very much a management tool that must be anchored in management, but the entire organization must be involved.

Together with the customer, we uncover the need for e.g.;

• Contingency plan/plan for continued operation
• Actioncard/SOP/Instructions
• Plans for ongoing life-threatening violence

Fire engineering building consulting

SABD provides consultancy related to the Greenlandic building regulations BR06 and the Danish building regulations BR18. 

Additionally, consultancy is offered concerning technical regulations for flammable liquids, flammable gases, etc. 

Furthermore, consultancy and fire safety reviews are conducted in accordance with operational regulations for hotels, etc. SABD also offers to develop: 

• Seating plans, inventory plans etc., 
• Fire strategies 
• Operation, control and maintenance plan

General counseling

SABD can offer a range of consultancy activities within the contingency field. 

If, for example, 

• New equipment needs to be purchased, we can provide consultancy from the ideation phase to implementation within the organization. 

• Or if the emergency services need to develop a sector plan or a plan for risk-based dimensioning, SABD can assist throughout the entire process.

Collaboration with other advisors

SABD collaborates with a number of specialists, consultants, and private companies within the Kingdom of Denmark. 

Therefore, larger projects can also be addressed within this community. For example, from the initial application to the building authority for area allocation to the issuance of an occupancy permit.

NIS2 og CER Directives

NIS2 and CER directives apply only to Danish companies and not to the entire Kingdom of Denmark. 

However, this does not change the fact that it is a good idea to have contingency plans for IT security and critical infrastructure when accidents occur. 

SABD can assist in the process from the initial management meeting to the final plan being implemented and tested through exercises.

Teaching, training and evaluation

SABD conducts training and exercise activities within the areas that are SABD's core competencies. Additionally, 

SABD can evaluate and document the conducted activities so they can be adapted for future learning, both individually and organizationally.
